Andrew Buchanan is a 2002 graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law. Andrew graduated magna sum laude and was a selected to the Order of the Woolsack, an honor for students in the top 5% of the law school class. He obtained his undergraduate degree in finance and banking in 1999 from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he graduated summa cum laude.
Andrew is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri, Western District of Missouri, and Southern District of Illinois. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Andrew started his law career with Lewis Rice & Fingersh, LC, which is one of the largest law firms in the St. Louis area. He handled medical malpractice claims, large commercial disputes, class actions, and securities litigation.
Andrew now focuses his practice on personal injury litigation, including medical malpractice, product liability, premise liability, automobile and truck accidents, and wrongful death. He also represents injured clients in workers’ compensation claims. In addition, Andrew has extensive experience representing clients in stockbroker liability claims and business litigation claims, including commercial landlord-tenant disputes, residential and commercial real estate disputes, and non-competition, non-solicitation, trade secret, and other employment disputes.
Andrew is married to Kimberly Ulrich Buchanan. Kim is an attorney and partner in the law firm Wegner Buchanan. Andrew and Kim live in St. Louis with their two children.
